Cliff Hybarger, owner of Chardé Jewelers, was originally trained in Colorado where he learned the Native American technique of silversmithing from local artisans. With over 45 years of experience, Cliff opened his first retail store in 1975 in New Braunfels, Texas. In 1987, he opened Chardé, a Houston jewelry store in the Rice Village area, which quickly became a neighborhood staple.
